Here, everyone matters and you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. As a Sales Force Effectiveness Lead LSD, you will be empowered to identify opportunities for the field sales force to optimize sales performance and a typical day will include:

  • Be an active member of the LSD Leadership Team, help drive LSD sales operations, and enhance sales force effectiveness through maximization of sales team tactical planning, execution, and operational processes.
  • Partner with LSD Leadership Team to enhance sales force effectiveness
  • Sales reporting dashboard development and management
    • The position will also support the processing, quality assurance, publication of Sales Reports, dashboards and ad-hoc reports. Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools, as needed.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) development and management
  • Support Systems Implementation e.g. Veeva, iRep, CRM
  • Best practice sharing and systems recommendation for dashboards and tracking tools
  • Change management, communications, training and support for analytics technology solutions in conjunction with other functions
  • Deliver Key Sales Meetings to drive strategic initiatives
  • Support Sales Force Development and Deployment
    • Incentive planning, Targeting, and call plan integration. Possible areas of support this role will provide may range from reviewing draft target lists, call plans, territory alignment and Incentives (IC) to actively participating with US Sales Lead to develop initial drafts of target lists, call plans, territory alignments and IC.

The Sales Force Effectiveness Lead will identify opportunities for the field sales force to optimize sales performance. They will leverage current and new reporting functions to help the National Sales Director (NSD), Zone Directors, and sales professionals to track pull-through of activity to drive results. They will work with the NSD and marketing lead to share insights that will mold strategy, messaging, training, and reporting to increase effectiveness.

40% This role will coordinate delivery of SFE and operational functions (Sales Insights, Sales Force Deployment, and Communications) within US LSD Sales & Leadership

40% Assess current systems, develop KPIs, monitor performance and design recommendations for best in class future state systems and platforms

20% Coordination with and support for LSD core meetings and programs

Education and Experience Requirements

A Bachelor s degree or equivalent. MBA preferred.

10 years Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, Sales Leadership, Sales Training or Sales experience or related experience

Ability to be strategic and prioritize key projects to deliver with optimal impact

  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to appropriately define issues, questions and data; to comprehend quantitative methods and analytical techniques; to perform accurate analysis; to cross-check data and assumptions; to document and establish data trails; and to think creatively about different ways to analyze data and information. Ability to effectively partner with analytics team to drive performance analysis.

Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence/motivate stakeholders and drive toward consensus.

Excellent presentation skills with the ability to establish logical flow and story and skilled in choosing best graphic representation for points to be made. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point required.

In depth understanding of senior sales and marketing managerial expectations and requirements in pharmaceutical industry.

Strong experience of working with multiple stakeholders and vendors to develop best in class solutions.

Demonstrable capability in managing large scale, cross-functional projects

Travel Requirements

Approximately 10-15%
