Job Summary

Primary Role

The BioLife Marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to be responsible for the analysis of marketing campaigns, promotion tactics and channel effectiveness. This individual will also own the development of predictive models to increase the efficiency of the marketing efforts leveraging traditional and machine learning techniques, automate reporting and marketing processes and perform deep dive analysis to understand and improve donor activation, engagement and reactivation.

Essential Functions


  • Measure impact of digital media channels and track marketing campaign ROI performance
  • Leverage machine learning to develop and maintain models in support of various marketing activities
  • Conduct analysis of market and donor data, identifying patterns, trends and translating those into actionable insights
  • Identify and manage donor segmentation strategies
  • Develop and maintain reporting for marketing KPIs
  • Gather data from multiple sources including web, email, mobile app, social media, and CRM to create integrated views of donor behavior that can be used to drive decision making
  • Create strategies to effectively gather donor feedback
  • Implement plans in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track marketing initiatives and donor behavior for web/mobile apps
  • Manage marketing technology tools and systems

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Understanding of marketing analytics, customer engagement metrics, online marketing, and customer segmentation
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL), statistical tools (R, Python) and visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik)
  • Expert in data visualization tools and techniques
  • Experience Machine Learning techniques to improve model performance and predictive analytics.
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent presentation, communication and project management skills
  • Manage and transform large datasets
  • Proficient with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 360
  • Strong MS Office skills, primarily Excel and PowerPoint

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of related work experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or related role

Desired: Masters

Working Environment:

  • May be required to travel (10%) for business reasons
  • Typical work environment involves office, meeting rooms and plasma collection center settings
