Job Summary

  • Plan and set direction for the MES team.
  • Provide direct supervision of individuals including mentoring, performance management, and staffing decisions.
  • Manage all activities of internal/external resources within the MES team.
  • Responsible for budget commitments and forecasting for the MES team.
  • Accountable for the operation of the MES system.
  • Project management to ensure timely completion of projects within the timeline, cost and scope.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision of individuals including mentoring, performance management, and staffing decisions.
  • Set team, group or service objectives and ensure they align with the Plant/IT objectives and the teams' day-to-day activities.
  • Determine and manage priorities, timelines and schedules.
  • Interact regularly with business partners (Manufacturing, Quality,etc) understand their business and to anticipate required adoption the MES system.
  • Review team deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence to the processes, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the budget process and monitor the budget as appropriate. Assist the Plant IT Leader with IT capital and operating expense investment requirements.
  • Develop, gather and measure relevant productivity metrics.
  • Manage projects as required.
  • Manage and supervise the Singapore EBM team and give significant direction to the team.
  • Understand and follow appropriate SDLC, quality validation processes and application processes.
  • Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.
  • Commitment to a fair and respectful relationship to others and behavior in accordance with Takeda s Code of Conduct.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant work experience in systems or business.
  • 8+ years experience in Information Systems or Process Automation.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Process and Pharmaceuticals industrial preferred.
  • Experience with business system and computer system validation, including Tools used in the Development Life Cycle.
  • Ability to lead, coach, motivate, inspire and influence others in the organization.
