The Key Account Manager will implement the strategic initiatives set forth by the Ophthalmics Franchise Leadership with a focus on high volume decile 8-10 customers. He/she will establish key partnerships and launch strategic programs within target physicians for a given marketplace. Customer base will include high-value MDs and ODs. Decile 8-10
Responsible for executing strategic objectives that position Takeda as a key partner in the Ophthalmics Communiy with the purpose to enhance patient outcomes:

Knowledge of healthcare operating ecosystem including managed care and reimbursement systems and pull through strategies highly desirable.

Adjusts approach as appropriate and within compliance and MLR guidelines; consult with Leader on more complex issues.
Understands and navigates complete customer and industry environment.
Internal and External Contacts
Collaborates with all direct and indirect leadership on Key Account Manager initiatives.
Collaborates with other field-based colleagues sales specialists, field sales trainers and field leadership.
