Primary Duties

The Sr. Training Specialist is responsible for facilitating and delivering approved training programs for the MaBIoOps site. This position is responsible delivering Instructor Led Training (ILT) and On-the-Job training (OJT) for introductory GMP and Clean Room onboarding programs. This position is also responsible for the development of ILT and OJT as needed. Training strategy, assignments and materials are developed in accordance to Takeda's policies, procedures, and standards.


  • 80%: Delivery of training
  • 20%: Developing training materials

Education and Experience Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 5 + years related experience

Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies

  • Deliver ILT on a variety of different topics such as GMP/GDP Orientation/Annual Refresher, Qualified Trainer Workshop, Clean Room Behaviors, Gowning and Personnel Movement and other subjects as needed
  • Consult with BPOs and SMEs on the development and approval of training content
  • Develop and maintain training content for ILTs, OJTs, WBTs, and KCs
  • Collaborate with training system specialists and LMS administrator as needed to ensure processing and testing of content within LMS
  • Consult with department managers and BPOs to identify appropriate curricula assignments for job types and roles
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and professional competencies
  • Strong presentation and classroom facilitation
  • Collaborative style and customer focus
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global cGMP requirements and ICH guidelines
  • An understanding and ability to apply adult learning principles and instructional design principles and methodology

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
