The Senior Manager, U.S. Immunology Marketing will be responsible for developing and leading patient focused digital initiatives, patient ambassador programming, and serve as point person and liaison for nurse and patient services marketing programs.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Director and patient marketing team to ensure marketing plans align with Immunology franchise strategies

Oversee the development and implementation of key marketing strategies, tactics and messaging for on-going commercialization of PI Product Portfolio with particular focus on digital and social media channels

Act as day-to-day lead in the development and implementation of patient programming including serving as point person for the ambassador program

Experience in development and execution of multi-channel marketing programs with primary responsibility for digital outreach

Work closely with agency partners to develop consumer, digital, and P2P patient programming

Ensure all resources and programming are in alignment with Shire Compliance, Legal and Regulatory requirements

Work effectively with internal stakeholders including: Sales, Patient Services, Regulatory, and Legal/Compliance

Budget management

Attendance at professional & patient conferences

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Science and / or business and 5 years of relevant brand experience (Marketing, Sales, Market Research, and Analytics). MBA is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a Marketing role within the Rare/Orphan disease space an advantage
  • Agency management experience (briefing/execution/budgetary oversight) preferred
