The Senior Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for managing projects and performing analysis of business process, applications, and systems; responsible for developing and creating business requirements, documentation, and project plans; writing and updating status reports for projects, sharing with users and departmental management; providing critical metrics on processes and assisting in reviewing performance analysis to help business leaders make more intelligent and data-driven decisions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Research and analyze data to recommend informed, strategic decisions Proactively identify internal and external customer pain points and other opportunities for business improvement Provide reporting and analysis on key service metrics Access work performance data from several different sources Analyze data, report on the data, suggest methods for improvement and adjustments to meet goals Develop business requirements based on user needs and translate into technical documents for development teams, management project work plans, and tracking project resources Analyze different business metrics and conduct gap analysis and process optimization, based on understanding of business and system processes. Create user, work flow, and technical documentation Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above Qualifications Expert level proficiency in MS Excel Experience with data measuring, analytics and reporting Familiarity in the use of various project management tools and methods including Kanban, Critical Path Method (CPM), Integrated Project Management (IPM) and others Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Have a strong business acumen coupled with a core set of advanced analytical skills Strong analytical, organization and communication skills accompanied by flexibility to quickly adapt in a fast paced, changing environment Experience managing small to medium cross departmental projects Clear and strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Excellent time management and problem solving skills Ability to be flexible and team oriented, as well as work well independently, to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision Embody the Takeda Leadership Behaviors: Be Positive. Education and/or experience Bachelor s Degree required 2-5 years of analysis experience Physical Demands In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work, standing work, and walking around observing conditions in the facility (light to medium work) Will be required to work around moving equipment and machinery Working Environment General office environment Must be able to work non-traditional hours to support the business
