The Supply Chain Operation s Specialist II is a member of a team in Takeda s Covington, GA plasma therapy facility with responsibility for analytical support of the warehouse operations (receiving, storage, materials delivery to production and shipping) and Plasma Operations areas.to ensure tasks within the area are supported and are executed on time, on budget and in strict compliance with GMP, EHS and Takeda Quality System. Responsibility includes investigation of CAPAS, EHS events, process mapping and procedure documentation and auditing, improvement initiatives as well as belt projects. Responsibilities can and may include one or more of development, tracking and reporting of KPIs, metrics, budgets and forecasts, along with analysis of operational processes and activities, developing and presenting analysis, projects and other support activities such as coordinating receipts and pick up logistics. Lastly role may be called upon fill in cross functionally within the team s scope of responsibilities. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Ensure that daily tasks and department initiatives are completed to schedule and or as required Support the team in case of issues with the information systems Drive operational excellence, high level of performance and excellent internal customer service Keep current with all training Review as assigned the warehouse Standard Operating Procedures guaranteeing the respect of Quality, Compliance and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements Participate when applicable in EHS program to review EHS performance and to identify and implement preventive and corrective actions Investigate Warehouse-related Quality events including Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA) processes and change controls Support and participate in corporate and regulatory inspections Manage cycle count. Review discrepancies identified during cycle counting and define proper corrective actions Audit for timely and accurate inventory transactions in the system Demonstrated experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of cGMP requirements Key partner to Global Logistics, Manufacturing teams, Biolife plasma supply, Purchasing and Planning Key contact to downstream and upstream departments Requirements: Education and/or Experience: Essential: More than 3 years of analytical experience in Supply Chain operations with strong preference for experience in cGMP or similarly regulated business environment Excellent Microsoft Office skills Excellent organizational and documentation skills in an uncompromising process environment Confident with ability to hold others accountable to agreed upon processes and procedures. Experience with ERP systems, processes and concepts Desired: One to three years of industry experience Lean green belt BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business or in an related field or equivalent experience Living our leadership behaviors is a basic expectation for all Takeda employees.
