SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Project Manager provides business and technical leadership at Takeda s Round Lake, Illinois manufacturing facility, for all major Supply Chain projects, including material and label changes, geographic expansions, process improvements, supplier change notices, long-range capacity planning, and value stream management; accountable for overall project performance including integration of project activities, liaison for senior management, and other stakeholders, project resources and financial achievement; provides input to the program prioritization process and participates in other key strategic business portfolio processes to ensure funding for the objective. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for performance and oversight of project portfolio supporting Flexbumin supply Provides clear direction on requirements to meet expectations of customers and stakeholders Leads the team in defining program strategies, developing goals, assigning project tasks and ensuring the team meets all goals Interacts through program updates and reviews with all levels of management Provides strategic support for all project phases, product/process development, project execution and transition into manufacturing by working with the master planner and other impacted facilities Sets the project strategy, schedules, resource alignment and financial analysis Approves team deliverables for project completion Provides technical support in all phases of product manufacturing Anticipates and resolves conflict situations with a win-win outcome Tracks all planned Flexbumin Supply Projects schedule, impact and strategy Tracks and monitors all lots related to past projects project execution and release Assesses capacity impact as well as how the project fits into the overall strategy of the plant Develops informal cross-functional team to support change / projects if necessary Leads discussions in order to resolve issues and risks Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement Embodies the Takeda Leadership Behaviors: Be Positive. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: BA/BS degree required, preferably in engineering or science PMI certification is preferred 5+ years of related experience required; 3+ years of Supply Chain experience required Experience working in FDA-regulated environment highly preferred QUALIFICATIONS: Must be well versed in Project Management tools and must possess knowledge of related disciplines Must have knowledge of such principles as GMPs, FDA guidelines and purchasing practices Must be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience, and through project management tools Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously Demonstrated ability to design and implement projects/studies outside area of expertise Must demonstrate strategic leadership and strong financial acumen Demonstrated success in leading without authority Display ability to communicate effectively using a wide variety of skills and vehicles PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred Must NOT be allergic to cephalosporin drugs PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 20 lbs. In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the manufacturing facility WORKING ENVIRONMENT: General office environment Must be able to work hours necessary to support a 24/6 manufacturing facility Indoor working conditions
