US Sales Training Manager Primary Role: The primary focus of the US Sales Trainer role is to develop and deliver sales training programs for the assigned sales forces. Conducts all phases of sales specialist new hire training and advanced skill training for the assigned sales forces. Responsible for the development and delivery of sales training materials for the assigned sales teams Develops strategic partnerships with key internal stakeholders Develops and delivers new hire training, advanced skill training, and brand/ promotional training for sales team members Manages submission and approval process through Commercial Medical Legal and Regulatory, as required Vendor management from obtaining proposals from suppliers, to selecting partners toon going management of vendors and agencies to designing training materials Creates and delivers selling skills training based on the principles of the "One Takeda" Selling Model Promotes a culture of compliance with all training activities Collaborates with Leadership Training to pull-through training initiatives with first line managers Collaborates with Sales Training Business Partner on deployment of field sales trainers Conducts field visits with sales force to provide coaching and assess training needs. Responsibilities: 40%: Design, develop, and deliver all phases of new hire training for the assigned sales forces. Develop and deliver advanced skills training for sales specialists. Create and deliver selling skills training based on the principles of the "Agility" customer engagement framework. Provide coaching and feedback to sales specialists and field sales trainers. 25%: Develop sales training materials for skill development training, product and disease state training, and brand initiatives. Ensure materials are approved through the appropriate processes per the CMLR SOP. 20%: Assist relevant Sales Training Business Partners with BU-specific training projects (POA/NSMs/SLM training, product/indication launches, promotional material training, compliance training, other). 10%: Conduct field visits with sales specialists to provide coaching and assess training needs. 5%: Provide training support to other US Franchises as determined by US Sales L&D Director. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor s degree required Generally 5 years of experience in the Pharma, Device, or Biotech industry desired. Minimum of 3-5 years pharmaceutical sales experience with a proven track record of success required. Minimum of 2 years of management experience or 2 years of sales training experience preferred. Other Job Requirements: Domestic and global travel as required supporting Takeda s current and emerging global footprint. Duties will sometimes call for early or late meetings and/or attendance to meetings on holidays and weekends.
