The Digital Communication Lead will develop and deliver a multi-pronged digital communications strategy to support the USBU. This person will bring the Takeda USBU story to life for employees with forward thinking use of digital assets.
The Digital Communication Lead is expected to serve as the subject matter expert for all digital communications as well as hands-on support, strong project management, content development and tactical execution through a variety of internal and external channels. Must be an outstanding and creative communicator -- oral and written -- with an expert command of writing, innovative ideas, technologically savvy, and excellent people and problem-solving skills.
Partner closely Product Communications, External/Brand Communications and cross-functional teams, serving as the digital subject matter expert, to drive digital experience programs that align with our core values of Patient Trust Reputation Business
Coordinate among internal and external partners to drive execution of digital programs
Collaborate with medical, legal, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliance in the development and execution of digital initiatives
Provide strategic and executional support across digital initiatives including intranet, social media, US website, email, newsletter, and internal displays.
Assist with updates and content creation for US website through the content management system and process
Manage agency partner relationships including digital/media agencies
Execute digital reporting for brands and identify actionable insights that can be used to optimize programs and performance
Establish digital best practices and standards and be a key contributor in amplifying the USBU s digital culture
Schedule social media posts using a publishing tool such as HootSuite.
Follow industry trends and advancements, and craft thought leadership articles and social posts to promote.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Bachelor s degree required. Majors in Journalism, Communications or public policy/public affairs preferred.
A minimum of 8+ years with demonstrated increased level of responsibility of professional experience required at a corporation or consultancy
Experience in digital marketing/multi-channel strategy
Proficiency in Office 365 and Content Management Systems
Strong background in consistently delivery high-impact digital programming
Strategic business partner with the ability to translate business information into language that employees and customer can understand.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to negotiate and form consensus among various parties important.
Experience in the healthcare/bio-pharma industry is preferred
Strong social media experience preferred.
