The Director of Strategy and Operations will provide planning and operations support to the Head US Oncology Strategy, Partnering & Operations. Support strategic planning process, operations analysis, and BD&L/Business Collaboration strategy and operations to drive the Oncology business vision and for translation of business strategy into organization activities.
Analyze information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems.
Collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
Collaborate with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions.
Collaborate on key projects, providing scientific and technical input to decision-making and meetings that will drive business priorities, including but not limited to BD&L and Business Collaboration strategy development and implementation
Define data requirements, gather, and validate information, applying judgment and tests. Analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes.
Support management report process and evaluate problems and recommend solutions. Provide support to 5 year strategic planning of the business, working closely with Head of Strategy, Operations and Business Development and Business and Planning and Analysis (BP&A) on financial forecasts.
Coordinate and manage meeting agenda and content for OLTUS meetings.
Support BP&A in the budgeting process and in monitoring where support is needed in Business Reviews planning and preparation. Coordinate content and timely delivery of reports, requests and presentations.
Provide support to US Oncology input into Global business reviews, performance and communications. Support planning of National Sales Meeting, Town Halls and other events to the wider organization.

Minimum two years industry experience in operations research analysis and assessment for business/strategic planning with demonstrated ability to identify partnership targets, grow market share and optimize long term growth for pharmaceuticals.
Experience must include design, and development of financial models and business case for regional strategic planning and implementation of cost saving initiatives.
Previous experience in business consulting from top tier firm strongly preferred.
Excellent analytical abilities, very strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and advanced Powerpoint skills are required.
