Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) is the primary field contact for Neuroscience patient services programs to HCPs and their staff, acting as the field arm of the patient services pod to mitigate roadblocks affecting patient journey and adherence to NS therapies. This role is multifaceted; the PSC works closely with other field roles (e.g., Sales Specialists, Strategic Account Managers, Reimbursement Managers and Case Managers), and coordinates with the Case Manager to both proactively and reactively ensure patient program success in the field.
Primary field interfacing for the NS patient services program include: live office visits for patient status updates, providing field intelligence to Hub Case Manager, HCP office staff disease state education, and injection device training. In addition, the PSC is responsible for coordinating and delivering resources and information to optimize the patient and physician experience for Multiple Sclerosis and Migraine therapies.
This position does not involve the practice of nursing. The role may occasionally interact with patients and caregivers in-person to educate around the disease process and product information to assist in understanding and managing their disease and/or treatment. It may also interact with patients virtually for the purposes of supplemental injection training. Novartis NS PSC must act in accordance with company guidelines and requirements.
