The Biostatiscs intern is expected to perform the statistical assessment and comparison of different methods for survival estimation of biased data, including left truncated and right censored data. The intern will also research and develop novel statistical models to analyze biased survival data, and to apply new methods to real clinical data sets. The goal is to provide a comprehensive package of information on the use, analysis and visualization of such data, in order to address stakeholders questions.

Key Must Have Competencies/Experiences
Solid knowledge in survival analysis, statistical modeling and simulation.
Experienced in handling biased data and nonparametric estimation methodology.
Must be able to work independently and to present the work at the end of internship.
Proficiency in R and familiarity with SAS
- Basic knowledge on drug development, oncology clinical trials, experimental design and data sampling
