Tip #2: Use the Boolean term AND to narrow your search. AND is the default boolean operator: If you do not specify an operator, the search assumes you mean AND.
Tip #3: Use the Boolean term OR to broaden your search: (Medical) OR (Pharmaceutical) will return any resume that includes either Medical or Pharmaceutical.
Tip #4: Use the Boolean term "NOT" to focus your search: (Medical) NOT (Sales) will return all resumes that contain the word Medical but no resumes that contain the word Sales.
Tip #5: Use parentheses, ( ), to group terms: (Medical AND Device) NOT (Sales) finds only resumes that contain Medical Device and no mention of Sales. (Project) AND (Manager OR Supervisor) will return all Project Managers and Project Supervisors.
Tip #6: Use quotation marks, " ", to search for exact phrases: "Analytical Chemist" will only return resumes with both terms next to each other.
Tip #7: Use the Boolean wild card asterisks, * to replace any part of a word: Pharm* will return all resumes that contain: Pharm, Pharma, Pharmaceutical, and Pharmacy.
