The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for building and leading a team of Neurology Sales Specialists, launching approved product, creating and executing strategies, developing people, managing performance and driving results. The position requires an individual that is an experienced sales leader with strong business acumen, and in-depth knowledge of the specialty pharmaceutical market. He or she is, highly collaborative, has a customer focused approach and launch experience. The RSM will effectively analyze sales data to identify opportunities for business growth or areas of concern and is responsible for the management of sales, strategic business planning and implementation of products for their assigned region. The RSM will build and direct a team of Neurology Sales Specialists within the assigned geographic area.
  • Utilizing knowledge and expertise to optimize national strategy and drive business results at the regional level
  • Participate in the formulation of National/Regional sales strategies, interpret strategies and execute the strategies within the geographic area
  • Providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback and inspiration to build a high performing and engaged culture within the team
  • Inspire ownership, accountability, initiative, and engagement within the entire team by regularly communicating the vision, business objectives, performance outcomes, and future action steps
  • Anticipates potential business challenges and takes a proactive self-directed approach to address such challenges
  • Ensures that all activities are in compliance with applicable regulations and Pharma guidelines
  • Travel: 50%+, including overnight travel
  • BA/BS Degree Required
  • Minimum 5 Years Pharma Management Experience in Neurology
  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Experience Preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful account management experience
  • Demonstrated success building/leading high performing team in complex selling environment
  • Documented track record of consistent sales and growth success
  • Ability to compliantly drive business results and identify new opportunities and strategies through strategic thinking and business planning.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified
