Responsibilities
The National Program Director will be the primary contact for the client on all matters related to the project and provide leadership, management, financial and operational oversight to field management.
 
Responsible for overall P&L of the contract, including any risk share metrics applicable as outlined in client agreement
Ensure contracted services, information flow and all other deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Collaborate on development of performance goals and objectives at all levels and appropriate measures to ensure achievement.
Oversee selection, evaluation of employees, and minimize turnover through execution of retention strategy
Inspires ownership, accountability, initiative, and engagement within the entire team by regularly communicating the vision, business objectives, performance outcomes, and future action steps.
Demonstrates relentless drive to achieve business goals and can understand and evaluate the potential impact of external events on the approved strategies
Demonstrates strong strategic thinking and communications skills by collaborating with customers and key stakeholders.
Provide oversight to ensure the team is promoting product consistent with client policies and that only approved promotional materials and messages are used in the field.
Interface with other functional leaders and teams in marketing, managed care, medical, human resources, and operations in order to achieve business goals
Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the client to discuss and address business issues.
Requirements
Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an encouraging manner, the ideal candidate has:
 
10+ years experience within the healthcare industry with five or more years experience managing.
Minimum Bachelor s degree, MBA preferred (Majors preferred Sciences, Business, Healthcare Fields)
Must have proven track record leading a clinical team preferably experience in the Cardiovascular area.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, especially in project planning, project implementation, cross-functional team management.
Ability to multi-task and maintain prioritization of key projects and deadlines.
Proven, successful history in leadership and motivational role
Ability to influence cross-functionally.
