Oncology Diagnostic Specialist


Come be a part of our successful experienced team of Oncology Companion Diagnostic Specialists. As a key member of this regionally-based team, you will work in partnership with Oncology Key Account Managers, calling on medical oncologists, pathologists and other multi-disciplinary team members in the solid tumor space to educate around the biomarker and companion diagnostic with the goal of driving quality testing for all relevant patients.


the successful candidate may live in San Fran/Northern, CA or Seattle WA. The territory covers OR, WA and Northern CA

We are seeking team-oriented, driven, and experienced oncology sales and support representatives with diagnostic experience and existing relationships in this dynamic market space.

  • Bachelor s degree required.
  • 3+ years of industry experience (pharmaceutical and/or device sales, and/or technical/medical support experience).
  • 2+ years Oncology experience
  • 2+ years diagnostics
  • Account and Territory Management experience.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Current Oncology Relationships.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Relationships with oncologists and/or pathologists.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Clinical and Business Acumen in the oncology and diagnostic arena.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work independently and as a team member with multiple parties on our Oncology client s team.
  • Technical and analytical sales ability in a complex multidisciplinary sales environment.
  • Strong rapport building skills and active listening skills.
  • Ability to display high-levels of initiative, effort and commitment.
  • Ability to learn, comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge.
  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined.
  • Ability to travel to assigned targets within the regional territory using own automobile or fleet vehicle (if provided by Touchpoint) Projected 30-40% travel regionally.
  • Ability to travel to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend).
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
