The Senior Accountant is responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, assist in preparation of accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. Also, oversee accounts payable expense reimbursement, and accounts receivable functions.


  • Perform account reconciliations, bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, enter month-end journal entries, assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.  Also, analyze Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet financial statements for accuracy, and assist/review the financial performance reports.
  • Responsible for reviewing client invoices prepared by Jr. Accountant/Accounting Associates to ensure accuracy prior to review by Finance Manager.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, including following up on any outstanding client invoices and processing of payables within account terms. Back-up for expense reimbursement process, and responsible for data downloads and data accuracy.
  • Assist in monitoring monthly, quarterly and annual operating results against budget and report variances to Finance Manager. Support Finance Manager in preparing budgets and forecasts.



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 3+ years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  Excellent presentation skills. Ability to motivate team to complete tasks within established deadlines.
  • Strong computer, MS Office (including PivotTables) and QuickBooks skills a must.
