Work along with Device Development Quality Engineering and HF Engineering teams to optimize patient well-being and overall system performance, applying theory, principles, and data regarding the relationship between patient needs and respective Takeda technology.

  • Responsible for the Quality oversight for development and implementation of human performance research, investigation, or analysis protocols. Works directly with Device Development Quality Engineering, Regulatory and Device Human Factors Engineering team to coordinate studies and reviews in response to regulatory requirements.
  • Assures tracking commitments to completion and follow-up to assure sustained, effective implementation of real world scenarios.
  • Device Quality will have joint efforts with HF team to design cognitive aids, such as procedural storyboards or decision support systems following any applicable regulations.
  • Knowledge and experience of a broad range of human factors principles and methods, and their role and application within major hazard industries for Device and Combination Products
  • Work with potential users/patients to evaluate human-device interactions, difficulties and improve methods
