Job Summary

Primary Role

The devices Lab Coordinator will support the device and analytical test lab in the medical device center of excellence, where responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all lab equipment maintenance, delivery and logistics of relocating and procuring new equipment, coordination with metrology and lab services, overseeing contracts with external vendors . In addition, is also responsible for supporting continuous improvement projects

Essential Functions


  • Planning and maintenance of internal calibration records, coordinate with metrology and lab services for new calibration and asset management, for all labs in the medical device center of excellence. 20%
  • Maintain vendor and supplier contracts to manage annual PMs for all CapEx equipment 20%
  • Create material and equipment inventory and manage inventory space and location 15%
  • Asset management, procurement for all new equipment 15%
  • On-boarding of new equipment suppliers and vendors (MSAs, SOW, CDA) 15%
  • Support DHF related initiative, support audits and special projects and continuous improvement projects in the device development team 15%

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors with 7+ years experience in project management, capital equipment, medical devices.
  • Experience in qualification, calibration and maintenance of lab / GMP equipment
  • Prior experience in collaboration with external partners.
  • Knowledge of global industry standards (ex: ISO, AAMI, ANSI, etc..) a plus.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Strong hands-on technical skills; a track record of medical device testing a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS office and Excel desirable.
  • Project Management

  • Collaborate with Metrology and Lab services
  • Interact with internal and external partners including outside testing laboratories and equipment manufacturers
