Job Function and Description
Monitor and update production process schedules in real-time. Escalate delays in a timely manner.
Redirection of planned production activities as required.
Evaluate cleaning of equipment and parts for process use.
Coordination of activity planning with maintenance, metrology, technical services, and other departments.
Oversee the process of scheduling, ensuring completion and maintaining log book for Sanitizations
Responsible for resolving any discrepancies between JDE and EBM material transactions.
Financial closure and status update of process work orders and maintenance work orders.
Assists in cycle counts and variance reporting.
Involved in specific production processes, she/he may problem solve in other functional areas.
Cross trains and assists with back up when necessary.
Must communicate daily activities, issues and solutions effectively using verbal and electronic means.
Assist Manufacturing and Quality departments in CAPA investigations
Complies with SOPs, GMPs, safety rules and regulations, and departmental procedures.
Provides leadership to enhance performance of department and take charge in the absence of the supervisor/Manufacturing Lead.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
Education and/or experience
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor s degree in scientific discipline or equivalent certification preferred.
5-7 years of manufacturing, warehouse, and/or technical office experience
Has lead teams of at least 5 people in a process or project role.
Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies
Requires strong interpersonal and organization skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple functional areas.
Computer skills, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Results oriented with high standards and possess the ability motivate and promote a team environment, as well as provide a good example for MFG Associates and newer employees.
Prepare and maintain documents, files, databases, and records such as standard operating procedures (SOP) and batch records (EBM).
Must be able to lift 10-50 lbs.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Exposure to manufacturing areas at +5 C including storage freezer at -20 C and exposure to human blood plasma.
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility.
Must be able to work in controlled environments requiring special gowning. Will be required to follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body.
No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish or artificial fingernails may be worn in the manufacturing environment.
Will work in a cold environment
Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
May be required to work in a confined area.
