Effectively contribute to manufacturing support via supporting deviation investigations and process robustness improvements, assisting quality and manufacturing partners in troubleshooting issues, supporting regulatory inspections and defending technical decisions to regulatory agencies, and supporting process validation maintenance. Display basic technical understanding of biochemical and technical aspects of biologics process. Conduct routine/non-routine research and design experiments with minimal assistance.

  • Contribute routine scientific knowledge or expertise to research and development activities for achievement of project goals and solve routine experimental design or research problems with some assistance. ("Routine knowledge" implies a "solid understanding of technical field or administrative functions.")
  • Under direction, conduct routine research and/or developmental activities. Plan details of assigned tasks within specific parameters. Organize data and prepare relevant Quality documentation for assigned projects. Write and issue reports with minimal guidance.
  • Understand and apply applicable corporate and divisional SOPs. Maintain knowledge of relevant Quality and safety requirements.
  • Employ appropriate techniques and methods to successfully conduct specific assignments within negotiated deadlines after receiving general instruction.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of basic technical theories and principles within area of expertise for routine tasks.
  • Assess feasibility of simple research and design concepts within area of expertise.

Typically required bachelors' degree in science, engineering, or other related technical field. Some related experience preferred.

The position requires relevant laboratory skills, writing skills, and computer skills plus teamwork/interpersonal skills.
