Early Talent Rotational Programs at Takeda offer college graduates the unique opportunity to experience rotations with a strong focus on personal development, technical skill building, mentorship, and networking. Early Talent Program members begin their Takeda careers in a supportive, structured environment that encourages self-directed learning and promotes accelerated growth. Upon successful completion of all rotations, the program guides graduates to identify the next step in their Takeda careers.
Operations Development Program (ODP) Associates is a 27-month rotational program provides valuable experience across Takeda s Global Manufacturing & Supply function. This rotational program is comprised of three (3), nine (9) month rotations in various US locations (including, but not limited to MA, GA, CA, MN, and IL).
Program features include:
- ODP Associates are assigned peer and professional mentors during the program to help introduce them to Takeda s culture, the values and goals of the ODP.
- Through formal training and on-the-job experiences, the program is committed to developing associate s technical, leadership, and teamwork skills while exposing them to Takeda s technologies, product lines, and global markets.
- ODPs attend a yearly Summit event with all rotational program members across Takeda s programs for collaboration, development, and networking.
Rotations are assigned based on business needs and matched with employee skills and development goals. Assignments are designed to challenge ODPs to quickly adapt and add value to each position.
ODP Associates will be responsible for learning and understanding various aspects of their rotational assignment. Rotation examples include:
- Quality ensure adequate adherence and deployment of quality systems such as batch record review, product release, change control, exception management, and product annual reviews.
- Supply Chain learn distribution, purchasing, warehouse operations and planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing responsible for learning, understanding and leading a manufacturing processes and/or team as well as support systems that ensure quality and on time delivery of product in a safe manner
- Project Management responsible for learning and understanding all aspects of project management as it applies to project execution on critical facility project(s). The areas in which this candidate will run the project(s) will include but not be limited to Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management and Information Systems
- Engineering learn how to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods by utilizing knowledge of product design, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, quality control standards and soliciting observations from operators. Will also learn equipment commissioning process (e.g. developing URS, FRS, DDS, performing FAT/SAT, FMEA and qualification).
- Program Start date for the next ITDP cohort is Monday, July 20th, 2020.
- Expected Program Completion date is October 2022.
- Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical) or Hard Sciences (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology).Degree to be completed before expected program start date.
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US or otherwise authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Minimum 1 relevant internship and/or co-op experience required.
