The Business Analyst (BA), TAUs will act as a bridge between the R&D TAUs and the R&D External Partnerships & Transverse Systems team and is responsible for analyzing business problems and identifying solutions that make efficient use of technology (architecture, tools, software application, etc.) to solve those problems. The focus of the analysis is on both business process requirements as well as information or data requirements. The BA is an expert in the business domain she/he supports and directly contributes to increasing the operational efficiency of the R&D Operations business function.

  • As part of this role, the BA leverages appropriate cross-functional expertise from a team of architects, operations managers, strategist, business experts and IS/IT leadership to develop accurate cost, resource and time estimates for both initial development or integration and ongoing support for IT solutions. The BA is responsible for ensuring requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and risks for potential solutions to technical and business issues are assessed and documented appropriately, for both new and previously established systems. The BA is a key member of the R&D IT team, and is a focal point of customer engagement for initiatives as assigned by the Global Head, R&D External Partnerships & Transverse Systems.
  • Designs, Promotes adoption and implements of R&D s Portfolio Management platform for managing TAU-portfolio and for monitoring KPIs that measure progress toward TAU strategic goals.
  • Leads, Implements & maintains quality data visualization and reporting capabilities necessary for portfolio planning, analysis and decision support.
  • Improves and promotes consistency in portfolio management framework between pipeline assets, marketed products, and BD activities for whom.
