The Commercial Integration Training Lead in our Deerfield, IL office.

bold mission. As the Commercial Integration Training Lead working on the Commercial
Learning and Development team, you will be empowered to serve as the
catalyst and facilitator for elevation of capabilities across all Commercial
functions. A typical day will include:
- The Lead is responsible for and is the
primary conduit of collaboration with internal Commercial partners and leads
knowledge sharing initiatives and integration with the GMBU Commercial
- The Commercial Integration Training Lead is
responsible for understanding and managing through a complex matrix and
environment to embed Commercial Learning & Development expertise in
processes and planning.
- This position is also responsible for a
centralized budget and full vertical team encompassing Learning Development for
Marketing and Managed Markets, Training design and delivery of Business Acumen
initiatives, Project Management, Instructional Design, and coordination with
Regional Sales Trainers.
- Responsible for leading cross functional
initiatives and gaining support for the departmental roadmap, including
creating and tracking of Learning Planning measurements.
- Collaborates across a diverse set of
leaders and functions to align with and develop department specific and
Business Unit Commercial strategy. Leads through times of ambiguity and can
shape and influence without authority.
- Management of Takeda Interim Development
Program (TIDE) including potential interim opportunity offerings serving as
Brand Ambassador and liaison to Commercial Leadership and Talent Management.
- Accountability for consistency and
evolution of Field Sales Leads, providing compelling field development
opportunities in current role.
- Responsible for strategy and continuing
partnership and alignment with fourteen Regional Sales Trainers to support
Commercial Learning & Development (CL&D) initiatives, training needs,
and feedback loop.
- Ownership for creation and development of
CL&D knowledge sharing processes and pull through to key department
partners to action learning.
- Oversees the development and implementation
of all Commercial Integration cost center budgets for Plan, LBE and
communicates assessments on a monthly basis.
- Provides updates and makes budgetary
recommendations to Head and Directors on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborates, coordinates, and maintains
regular communications with other Takeda departments including Sales,
Marketing, Managed Markets, Analytics, Human Resources, and IT to drive
effectiveness and proactively identify potential solutions.
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor s Degree, Master s degree, MBA, or
Ph.D in relevant Commercial or organizational field preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of total experience in
life sciences/pharmaceutical Commercial functions.
- At least 7 years of Commercial Management
experience that must include a combination of two of the following; Managed
Markets, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Training, or Leadership Development.
- Business Development and/or Acquisition
- Global Commercial experience.
- Certified Pharmaceutical Manager (CMR)
- Willingness to travel to various meetings
or client sites, including overnight trips. Requires approximately 25% travel.
