Lead and manage a group of scientists to provide bioanalytical support for developing large molecule based therapeutics. The position will focus on method development/qualification and application of the methods using various LBA assay formats (ELISA, MSD, Gyros, etc) for non-regulated internal assay support as well as external regulated assay support via method transfers/oversight to CROs. The candidate must be an expert and have bench experience on developing methodologies for proteins, antibody-drug-conjugates (ADCs), biomarkers, etc. Candidates with experience in developing ADA and cell-based NAB assays are preferred. Experience with mass spectrometry based assays is a plus.


The candidate must have a proven record of scientific expertise through publications and or presentations in bioanalytical method development using LBA, multiplexed technologies, and other related technologies. In addition, the successful candidate must have demonstrated superb leadership to coach staff scientists as well as to provide scientific influence to project teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
PhD in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related fields with a minimum of 7 years of industry experience. MS in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields with a minimum of 12 years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech industrial experience. Must have supervisory experience.
Working knowledge in bioanalytical chemistry, protein chemistry, immunoassays, immunogenicity assays, cell-based assays, and pharmaceutical discovery and development processes; excellent capability in bioanalytical assay development and hands-on experience in trouble-shooting; familiar with relevant FDA, ICH, and EMEA guidelines on LBA and immunogenicity assays.
