Responsibilities

The National Business Director will be directly responsible for the time sensitive management, development and implementation of all matters related to the project. The NBD will provide leadership, strategic and operational management along with financial support aligned with business objectives. The NBD will lead and direct the Reimbursement team in the acquisition, expansion and retention of targeted business within the assigned geographic area.

The NBD will develop strategic plans that align with corporate strategies and function as the primary liaison between our client and internal Syneos Health operational elements. Ensuring Syneos employees understand and implement corporate strategy and work cross functionally with various departments to problem solve potential field barriers to effective execution

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelors Degree , advanced degree preferred (Major Preferred in Science, Business, Healthcare)
  • 5+ Years reimbursement, contract strategy, managed care sales/marketing or related field
  • 2+ years leading a regional or national team
  • Specialty pharmacy, infusion, buy/bill is preferred
  • Financial acumen managing regional budgets & P/L
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Establish performance expectations and oversee field management including adherence to policies
  • Collaborate on incentive compensation plan design and oversee plan administration
  • Facilitate ongoing operational update meetings and serve on the Steering Committee
  • Foster a culture and environment that rewards accomplishment and encourages the advancement and retention of productive employees
