Syneos Health is currently engaged in a direct hire/full time search for one of our clients Before Brands for a Regional Sales Director. Before Brands is a health and wellness company that is dedicated to bringing innovative nutritional products directly to families. Before Brands first product was invented by a leading pediatric allergist and is the only holistic approach to food allergies, before foods become allergens. The patented and well-studied formulation is made with real ingredients designed to contain all of the food groups responsible for over 90% of food allergies. The Regional Sales Director will join a progressive organization backed by a wealth of data, funding and Intellectual property on a foundational food blend. The Regional Sales Director will be a strategic leader and business partner working cross functionally with various departments. The Regional Sales Director s (RSD) responsibility will be the development and management of a designated region and the personnel within the region with a goal of maximizing product promotion through customer engagement. This role is responsible for leading, directing and managing activities of designated Territory Sales Managers within a specific geographical area. The RSD is responsible for leading his/her team to the achievement of established key business objectives. They will participate in national, regional, and local strategic meetings, as well as, lead meetings with their respective team. The RSD will be a strategic partner to the management team supporting a product portfolio with a wealth of support data and very strong IP for the product and product formulation.
Key Job Responsibilities : (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following)To lead, manage and develop the skill sets and overall performance of the region
Regional travel will be required
Hire, train, develop and coach Territory Sales Managers
Develop and implement approved business plans to contribute to overall project success
Achieve organizational objectives through effective leadership of sales team
Effectively lead and implement the approved marketing plan with the team
Effectively identify/monitor multiple local market conditions and build strong customer relationships
Personally influence and interact with the opinion leaders within the region.
Monitor all field activities to make certain all are within compliance guidelines
Provide feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions to senior leaders
BA/BS degree Required Business or Life Science degree preferred MBA is a plus
