Job Overview:

The BAM tasks are primarily project-driven by working with cross-functional teams on local and global level as well as decision makers and data experts in key governing accounts such as chief of clinic, health insurers, counselling physician to payers, hospital management and budget holders in hospitals, health insurances, or other associations (medical & payers).

She/he supports the organization to meet its short and long-term goals by creating sustainable access solutions delivering breakthrough analysis and insights to the commercial organization and specifically to pricing & reimbursement (P&R). In this role, the BAM develops tailored value story for responsible brands and ensures an aligned messaging across the company.

As a member of the cross-functional P&R and brand team the BAM supports brand expertise from access and health economic perspective. He jointly develops reimbursement strategies and is critical for successful reimbursements and maintaining high value access by performing data reviews from health economic and real-world evidence perspective, identifying data gaps, and developing strategies to address gaps such as driving burden of disease, registries and health economic studies. The BAM involves key stakeholders in projects in order to execute on mentioned strategies and at the same time offers projects in order to build value in accounts. In this function, the BAM will be an internal key partner for a successful Centre of Excellence strategy by understanding the ecosystem of top key accounts from funds flow and patient flow perspective. The BAM has a national responsibility, her/his tasks are centred on brand/indication-specific responsibilities as well as general projects advancing our account relationships.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in life science, pharma-economic, or similar studies.
  • Very good knowledge of Swiss health care and hospital system and proven track record in account management.
  • Very good knowledge in market access and health economics (understanding and application of health economic models), experienced in building localized value propositions leveraging local data by creating access to and building local real-world evidence including operationalization of data collection.
  • Familiar with burden of disease studies.
  • Track record of negotiation and contracting capabilities, stakeholder mapping and relationship management.
  • Highly customer-oriented, communicative and effective relationship building skills paired with excellent analytical and strategic capabilities.
  • Experienced in stakeholder mapping and action planning.
  • Feels comfortable working autonomously with good project management skills.
  • Be highly proficient in German, French and English.
