England, Junior Clinical Research Manager CR_PL_11621-MZ
Our client is a Swedish digital health company with a UK subsidiary that has specialised in developing neuropsychological tests to be used for the assessment and treatment follow-up of ADHD. Their FDA cleared and CE marked products objectively measures the core symptoms of ADHD (hyperactivity, inattention and impulsivity), are currently used by over 1000 clinicians around the world. To match current requirements for objective tests and to further improve the capability of the tests, they are performing several clinical trials in Europe, US and China.
Therefore, they need to recruit a person that can support our Medical Director with the strategic planning, initiation, monitoring and data management of these studies. They are primarily looking for a Psychologist with special interest in psychometrics. The person will report to the Medical Director and work directly with their research partners in different parts of the world. The studies are being carried out as research collaborations and they engage in the design and monitoring of the studies, as well as by providing data outputs. Since most of the day to day work with the studies are being carried out by research partners, the work will be more of a coordinating nature. Special emphasis will however be on data management issues since they support their clinics by providing quality checked original data from their test systems. Some international travel is expected.
It is a merit if you at least have some experience in dealing with clinical studies. You should preferably be skilled and up to date when it comes to sorting and analyzing data in Excel and SPSS. Given the magnitude of studies our client is involved in, you should also be good at structuring the work so that each study is closely managed, per the needs of the research collaborators.
This position will appeal to someone who wants to work in a fast-paced, research driven, commercial organisation to maximize their technical skills whilst learning about strategic research programmes. Long-term, possibilities to publish own research and potentially to doctorate in this area may be offered given our extensive collaborations with different research groups.
