To lead the process and team in the review, approval, and release of membership, contract setup, and rebate payments respectively, collaborating with process stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payments are consistently met.
Process Expert/Lead - Serve as the centralized knowledge hub of Membership and Contract Administration, providing guidance to stakeholders/project owners on process. Evaluate contract content and strategy to ensure quality and consistency in contract setup, membership validation, and rebate adjudication. Serve as key contact for Membership Shared Services from strategy concept through final authorization: leverage knowledge of Membership expertise to drive priorities, issue resolution, project development quality/speed and compliance.
Business Partnering - Collaborate with all relevant departments within Novartis and Sandoz to plan, prioritize, and review any Membership/Contracting issue, strategy, or project. Initiate extended team meetings to foster relationships and provide early guidance, drive awareness of key initiatives upfront. Train teams/customers on new processes and provide ongoing best practice sharing.
Team Leadership/Meeting Facilitation Plan and implement effective meetings by driving early preparation, and facilitating consensus among stakeholders. Provide direction to associates to help ensure alignment and understanding of priorities within and across teams/customers, and completing their tasks; delegate responsibilities as appropriate.
Quality Assurance Ensure adherence to all Contract, Membership, and Rebate process requirements. Responsible for communication of key process updates. Partner with internal/external customers to ensure data and/or requests are submitted correctly; identify any areas for improvement and provide actionable feedback.

BA/BS degree or Equivalent 4-Year degree required
Focus in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
Mastery of the English language (written and oral)
> 7 years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Expertise in contract administration, membership validation and maintenance, rebate adjudication, and chargeback processing
Working knowledge of class of trade and customer identifiers
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical product discount contracts with various healthcare providers
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
Proficiency with life science applications. Model N, Revitas and SAP a plus
Account management/relationship building
Demonstrate persistent follow through and ability to juggle shifting priorities with ease
Ability to research and respond to complex customer issues with reasoned judgment
Strong collaboration, communication and negotiating skills
Strong leadership, motivation skills with ability to influence without direct responsibility
Strong project and process management experience
Results-oriented ability to deliver under tight deadlines
