The Director of Marketing Excellence is accountable for overseeing and coordinating the strategic planning for Xolair marketing as well as designing and executing growth marketing initiatives.
The Director of Marketing Excellence works closely with other members of the Marketing, Sales, Operations and Strategic Business Planning teams in addition to cross-functional partners across Novartis, including Product Lifecycle Services, Medical, Manufacturing, Market Access, and others. He / she administers the overall governance process and coordinates activities with key members of the partner joint venture partner organization.
The incumbent develops and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manages multiple project plans, tracks resources and requests, and reviews status reports (accomplishments, upcoming deliverables, and issues, actual vs. baseline). The incumbent ensures cross-functional communication and alignment; identifies activities at risk, and recommends and/or drives actions to address.
In close collaboration with Brand Head, identify strategic opportunities and risks and work with Brand and Cross Functional Team to develop growth acceleration or mitigation strategies
Develops and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Brand to enable insight-driven evolution of strategy and tactics; and co-develop actionable recommendations for Brand team
Develop annual strategic and operating plans, including financial forecasts, analytics and budget management. Monitor the product performance, competitive environment and customer base to quickly identify plan changes
Manages multiple project plans, tracks resources and requests, and reviews status reports (accomplishments, upcoming deliverables, and issues, actual vs. baseline).
Works closely with Strategic Business Planning and Sales Operations to identify and action opportunities for execution excellence in partnership with sales leaders
Provide inputs to Lifecycle Management (future indications, brand maximization) and pipeline development for Xolair
Liaise with Global Xolair team on critical brand issues and align as appropriate to the global brand strategy.
Collaborate with strategic leads across franchises to ensure visibility, sharing and application of best practices
Model culture of collaboration, courage, transparency and team approach within and outside the team.
Ensure compliance with Novartis policies and procedures and full integration into the Novartis culture and support resources.

Bachelor s Degree (Masters/MBA preferred)
Minimum 5 years Pharmaceutical Sales, Marketing, Strategy or Market Analysis experience in Biologics preferred
