The Novartis US Medical- Cardiology Intern will work closely with the Cardiovascular Medical leaders to aggregate and analyze strategic Medical insights related to ongoing project plans. Intern will deliver processed insight information to ensure Novartis Medical activities have the intended impact so that Novartis products achieve maximum potential benefit for patients and inform progressive Medical Unit strategy. The Intern will, under the supervision of Medical Directors, work with Headquarters Medical and Field Medical teams to meet other unmet needs of the business in line with availability and ability.
The Novartis US Medical Internship opportunity is based at East Hanover, NJ.
The Novartis internship program provides real-world work experience to university students. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week during the length of their internship, unless otherwise specified by their manager. In addition to work assignments and projects, we also provide the students career development and networking opportunities throughout the duration of the internship program.

Currently enrolled in an accredited PharmD graduate program
Ability to commit to a summer fulltime internship
Strong critical thinking skills and strategic mindset
Willingness to learn from others on the job and inside a specific team
Curiosity to explore different functions and unique roles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Prior internship or co-op experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
Undergraduate degree in science field preferred
Ability to demonstrate and excel in Quality, Innovation, Performance, Collaboration, Courage and Integrity in a cross-matrix team
