This role will be responsible for the brolucizumab brand positioning and the resulting profes-sional marketing strategy which will inform the creation and deployment of promotional communications and messages for the HCP customer audience. This includes both personal and non-personal activities and messaging. Importantly, this role will create a strategic vision for how to translate the brand positioning to create the desired beliefs and understanding of the brands defining attributes across our segments of HCP customers.
Creates professional marketing strategy and translates strategy to messages, tactics and deployment to ensure the delivery and impact with HCP customers.
Is an expert on the scientific data for brolucizumab and uses this expert knowledge to ensure that all promotional messages are consistent with our data as per the approved product label.
Creates focused and clear sales messaging by partnering closely with the sales team during development and to create a clear plan for pull through and execution.
Point person for the Sales Pocket/NSM meetings and provides direction on content and required training.
Partners with Insights & Analytics to ensure that insights and research are captured for the development, testing and ongoing assessment of promotional messages.
Is an expert on HCP customers across all customer segments and understands their motivations, needs, and how our messaging resonates with each customer target.
Understands how other internal partners are engaging and communicating with HCP cus-tomers and shares our strategy and activities to ensure alignment (where appropriate).
Partners with Training team to create training plans for the sales and other customer fac-ing teams to ensure a high level of knowledge and proficiency around key areas of dis-ease state, marketplace and selling messages.
Works closely with Regulatory, Compliance and Legal partners through the development and approval phases of all materials to ensure that all communications are compliant.
Owns the development of the non-personal promotional strategy and resulting activities, including the development of a robust digital media strategy in partnership with the in-ternal digital marketing group.
Hires, coaches and develops Sr. Brand Manager(s)
Provides team and brand leadership as a member of the marketing leadership team
Works cross functionally with other key partners to review, update marketing competen-cies and ensure consistency with required skills.

Education Minimum University degree
Desirable: MBA or a professional qualification
Experience: 5+ years in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare marketing, ideally focused in the area of professional marketing
People leadership with proven ability to coach and develop others for high performance and success
Have worked in cross functional, matrixed environ-ments with demonstrated success in delivering re-sults through collaboration.
Led agency partner relationships and provided clear direction to external agencies
Experience launching a new molecule in a competi-tive market preferred
Previous experience in Sales or other customer fac-ing functions preferred
Experience in Ophthalmology and knowledge of the Retina sub-specialty preferred
Results oriented, strong team player, strong customer centric mindset, ability to influence wide organization from matrix role, excellent communication skills, ability to manage change, sound analytical skills
