This position will serve as the internal expert on data sources, developing and maintaining data use guides, appropriate business rules, and overseeing data governance as it pertains to the assigned data sources. This work will require collaboration with many stakeholders, including other SDO teams, PLS, IT, medical, and commercial teams.
Support Executive Director, Data Capabilities, in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the US OBU data governance process
Develop and maintain data source user guides for each assigned data set
Develop and maintain business rules for each assigned data set and work with PLS and IT to implement the business rules
Ensure data validity through data governance and management process, working with PLS and IT to ensure the data validity process is adequate for US OBU s needs
Provide subject matter expertise on data source and their use
Identify opportunities to maximize the use of data through working with other analytics vendors
Ensure appropriate use of each data set
Facilitate and maintain relationships with each vendor
Maintain current contracts and other documentation requirements
Evaluate new data sets and assist in the negotiation of new contracts
Keep abreast of innovative data offerings and vendors through market intelligence

Required - Master s degree in statistics, data science, MBA or similar field preferred;
Minimum 3 years of experience working with a Matrix organization;
Minimum 5 years of analytics experience required, with minimum 3 years in healthcare analytics;
Minimum 2 years of project management and/or team leadership experience required;
Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in healthcare data and supporting business analytics needs;
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and to be accountable for individual results;
Demonstrated strong skills in oral and written communication;
Ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence across a multifunctional matrix organization;
Demonstrated prioritization, organizational, analytical, and research skills as well as the ability to conceptualize more complex issues and work on complex processes, procedures or solutions;
