Novartis is recruiting for a Marketing Automation Lead. This role will be located in East Hanover, NJ.

As Novartis continues to move toward ensuring excellence in marketing and also evolution of commercial models we need to ensure that our marketers understand an can use automation tools across various channels and functions. This Marketing Automation (MA) leadership role is key to this journey. You will provide business expertise into select marketing processes, work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement business processes and workflows to drive business value and strategic objectives. This includes supporting IT from the business perspective (e.g. business inputs into modifications of CRM, SFMC and other tools) and lead cross-country governance of enhancement decisions.
The Marketing Automation Lead will be responsible for:
Identification and prioritization of key business processes that drive value to the business e.g. optimization and efficiency of business processes, harmonized brand score-cards/KPI, etc.
Project management and operations of tools and process implementation at global and country level
Lead governance of capability enablement: Steer cos, tracking progress, escalation, etc.
Define the strategic roadmap to support marketing processes & tools and ensure alignment and integration into over Infrastructure roadmap
Partner with key Internal stakeholders to implement processes and roadmap a. Work with CE

A minimum of seven plus years of experience marketing operations with a minimum of 3 years in pharma.
A Bachelor s degree; MBA preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt highly preferred.
Building marketing automation workflows and processes for key marketing needs like segmentation, cross channel messages, content management and measurement
Hands on experience in driving successful change management in large organization(s) at the global and local level are required.
Proven understanding of Global to Local CRM, MCM requirements for MA implementation.
Channel prioritization criteria and Arche typing exercises across global and local initiatives.
Basic understanding of channel-specific technology platforms
Basic level experience of functional requirements with VEEVA as an CRM offering.
Ability to ensure and govern process adherence, SOP development, and knowledge exchange
Experience in managing complex projects with on-shore and off-shore project management and delivery partners.
International travel expected for one week every 6-8 weeks , or as business needs.
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally against business objectives and timelines
Ability to effectively translate technical language to business language (and vice versa)
Senior, executive level presentation skills with ability to communicate and engage with business audiences at all levels within the organization
Ability to partner with business teams, technology and shared service functions
