The Director / Associate Director, Market Access Franchise Lead, Oncology Region LACan will ensure that reimbursement/pricing approval and formulary inclusion (or equivalent) for Novartis Oncology medicines are achieved rapidly and effectively, and that other reimbursement and access (R&A) challenges are met to optimize brand life cycle performance and patient outcomes. The incumbent is also responsible for the coordination of LACan R&A /payer input into regional and global deliverables / plans and adapt / customize dossiers prepared by GMVA (Global Marketing Value and Access) to better support country filings and negotiations. The role will also lead cross-functional efforts focused on projects related to the development of market access solutions, including the collection of payer feedback that can be included in plans and strategies.

A Bachelor s degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, economics, public health sciences is required
An advanced degree is highly preferred
Professional HTA qualification or equivalent
Fluent English and Spanish speaking skills are required; Portuguese is desirable
A minimum of 5 + years of HEOR & Market access skills and functional experience in similar or cross functional roles is required
Demonstrated experience in negotiation and engagement with high-level internal and external stakeholders and payers
Demonstrated successful track record in achieving, and maintaining premium access & reimbursement for oncology / high cost products in Latin America or other HTA markets
Working knowledge of Pharmacoeconomics and value dossier preparation.
Knowledge of healthcare and reimbursement systems in country and/or LACan region, including segmentation of payers is an advantage.
Pre and post-launch experience in creating pricing-reimbursement-access dossiers, government relations, professional relations, patient-group relations, media relations
Knowledge of the oncology market, with main focus on the access environment.
Strong knowledge of market access policy issues such as HTA, RWE, value dossiers adaptation, IPR, IPM s
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
30-40% of international travel is required for this position
