Novartis is recruiting for a Quality Assurance & Standards Lead. This role will be located in East Hanover, NJ.
The Quality Assurance & Standards Lead is responsible for designing, planning, implementing, directing and evaluating quality assurance programs, functions and quality management systems for activities related to Novartis patient support pro-grams and services.
Lead has Quality Assurance program oversight and responsibility for of a depart-ment of 200+ individuals in both Field and HQ roles as well as 30+ vendor pro-grams spanning ~$200M in spend and ~800 external head count working on behalf of Novartis across the Pharma portfolio.

Bachelor's Degree, Master s Degree Preferred
At least 10 years of progressive business experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with broad understanding of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, reim-bursement and patient services
Demonstrated hands-on understanding of the current compliance environ-ment including current regulations and standards from the FDA, CMS, HHS OIG, and other regulatory and enforcement agencies
Prior experience in quality monitoring/auditing of patient services programs.
Extensive knowledge of call center industry practices, reimbursements and payer systems, healthcare protocols and US Healthcare system processes
Ability to critically evaluate and troubleshoot complex problems is essential
Strong hands on leadership and management skills with proven ability to ef-fectively participate on multi-disciplinary teams
Travel as required

Excellent business/commercial acumen needed; demonstrates ability to self-start, initiate and to deal with ambiguities
Experienced in establishing and cultivating relationships; able to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and partners across the organization
Uses diverse and varied approaches to persuade, negotiate and influence operational decisions
Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and in a team structure; maintain strong cross-functional ties with key business partners
Proven track record of developing and managing multiple tasks
