Sr. Manager/AD Regional Breast Marketing (Field Based Roles)
The Sr. Manager/AD Regional Breast Marketing is a commercial field-based member of the Breast Brand Team. The Sr. Manager/AD Regional Breast Marketing is responsible for engaging Breast Medical Experts and for identifying/developing product advocacy within assigned geography. This person works closely with Brand team colleagues as well as with Sales, Training and other key stakeholders. The Sr. Manager/AD Regional Breast Marketing would support the Brand team on marketing projects requiring involvement from Medical Experts and would be fully accountable for a few identified marketing projects.
Sales Expert Advisor Engagement
Work with Brand, Sales Leadership, Strategy & Business Development and Medical to national and regional Breast Medical Experts
Develop and execute an engagement plan with Medical Experts in a commercial capacity
Act as a primary point of contact for Medical Experts with the commercial side of the Novartis organization
Lead set up of Medical Expert engagements with Novartis colleagues during medical conferences
Identify and develop product advocates in the Breast Medical Expert community
Take full accountability for executing designated marketing projects involving content from Medical Experts
Support the Brand team on other marketing projects involving input from Medical Experts e.g. select appropriate Medical Expert for specific projects and work with Medical Experts on content development
Support the Brand team on peer to peer initiatives including identification of speakers, assessment and development of speakers and creation of speaker decks in accordance with policy
Share Medical Expert insights with field-based teams to support their development of account-specific strategies
Maintain a thorough understanding of brand strategy and key business drivers
Stay abreast of competitive environment and treatment paradigms
Attend local, regional and national medical meetings where Breast content is being presented
Participate in special projects and perform other duties, as requested
50-60% travel required. Weekends as well.
The territory will include the states of FL, GA, MS, AL, LA.

BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred
Pharmaceutical sales experience required
Sales management or account management required for an AD level position, field sales experience required for a Sr. Manager position.
Minimum 5 years of Oncology experience highly preferred.
Experience engaging with Medical Experts required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with a strong track record of success
Strong project management expertise and the ability to exercise informal leadership across matrix teams and vendor partners
