Novartis is recruiting for an Associate Director, Specialty Pharmacy Services. This role is a field based role and can be located in the Midwest or Southeast. Preferred location would be Midwest.

The Associate Director, Specialty Pharmacy Services will facilitate the development, execution, and oversee the implementation of Specialty Pharmacy Enhanced Services Agreements.
Discuss proposed Enhanced Services Initiatives with select SPPs and solicit their input and willingness to participate
Provide input into the development of the SP Services Core Team Template
Support the Core Team Review and Approval Process
Collaborate with SCA, Strategic Sourcing, and other key internal stakeholders (Legal, Privacy, etc,.) to successfully negotiate the SP Enhanced Services Agreements (Task Orders) with select SPPs
Ensure all new Agreements are entered in POPSys and assigned a new Purchase Order #.
Ensure all new vendors (SPP) comply with the CIA and POP requirements
Monitor the implementation of the SP Enhanced Services programs and provide Quarterly Updates to the Brand Teams and other internal stakeholders
Validate Monthly Invoices
Conduct semi-annual business reviews with each vendor to assess the impact of the SP Enhanced Services

BS Degree, MBA preferred
Mastery of English, oral and written
A minimum of 3 years working for a Specialty Pharmacy preferred
Account Management experience with extensive knowledge and experience in the Specialty Pharmacy Channel (5+ years)
Experience working directly with or having knowledge of the top PBM/Payer owned and MD Centric Specialty Pharmacies
Broad pharmaceutical and or healthcare experience including 4+ years of management experience, including sales
Proven leadership skills with strong business and analytical acumen
Knowledge and understanding of the SP Enhanced Services Process preferred
Knowledge and experience negotiating agreements, developing relationships with internal and external customers, and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve a common goal
Travel as required
