As the Director of Cosentyx Professional Marketing, this individual will be responsible for evolving and strengthening the Rheumatology professional promotion platform.
Lead the development and implementation of the Cosentyx Rheumatology commercial strategy and present to senior management.
Monitor the product performance, competitive environment and customer base to quickly identify plan changes
Lead competitive strategy and coordinate cross-functional team around it to ensure preparation to competitive entries and evolve promotional platform to drive continued growth
Liaison with all field resources (specialists and managers) to ensure appropriate deployment of the evolving promotional platform and contribute to enhance field execution of the brand strategy
Liaison with field marketing resources to coordinate execution of the brand strategy with activities at regional and local level
Liaison with Payer Access and Health Policy marketing to execute on the access strategy. Key marketing lead for Strategic Account Manger initiatives.
Lead interactions with extended brand team members including other functional areas (Sales, Market Access, Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Training, and others) building consensus/buy-in among these team members and function as commercial representation in the MPT
Present promotional strategy and platform to senior management for approval.
Leads all LCM (future indications, brand maximization) for Rheumatology
Collaborate with Global on critical Major Accountabilities brand issues and align as appropriate to the global brand strategy.
Ensure compliance with Novartis policies and procedures and full integration into the Novartis culture and support resources.

Business or Marketing degree (MBA) are preferred
7+ years experience in the pharmaceutical and/or health care industry
Rheumatology experience preferred.
Proven track record of in-line brand performance and managing product marketing functions.
Demonstrated success leading across functional teams.
Strong written and oral communications to shape and articulate a clear strategy/story
Ability to analyze and interpret amounts of complex market and financial data
Marketing, managed markets, or sales experience.
Preferred Requirements (e.g. education, experience level, languages, physical demands of the position, etc.):
Therapeutic knowledge specifically with specialty, biological products.
Strong ability to coordinate with Global Franchises.
