Novartis is recruiting for an Associate / Director Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HE&OR) Dermatology Local Program Team (LPT) Lead. This position will be located in East Hanover, New Jersey and will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
The Associate / Director HE&OR Dermatology LPT Lead will serve as a strategic leader and represent HE&OR function at the cross-functional disease-focused teams, Local Program Teams (LPTs), that are responsible for ensuring maximal US commercial, regulatory and reimbursement success of our development programs. The focus of the role will be to provide strategic input to early development programs, and ensure all HE&OR deliverables are attained and align with global, US and NIBR partners to ensure regulatory success and patient access.
Serve as a strategic leader of the LPTs in partnership with the medical and commercial co-leaders. Specifically, serve as co-developer of overall LPT, disease and program strategies.
Develop and lead the implementation of innovative and aligned HE&OR strategic plans
Ensure specific HE&OR deliverables to LPT are meeting or exceeding expectations
Provide agreed upon HE&OR deliverables to LPTs in a timely manner
Provide specific project execution which is required to meet LPT deliverables for HE&OR
Drive health economic, PRO, and related strategies and make operational within the LPTs with complete alignment across LPT, Global, commercial, medical affairs and NIBR partners
Partner with Global HE&OR, RWE and clinical development on the development and execution of the HE&OR LPT strategy
As appropriate, develop Effectiveness Registry strategies in partnership with the Head of Early Products and drive through LPTs and HE&OR
Co-lead development of value proposition across payer segments in partnership with LPT, global and US partners
Collect, track and provide reports on function metrics and key performance indicators.
Manage multiple projects and product budgets to target as directed as well as interact with vendors in the execution of HE&OR projects.

Graduate degree in a relevant discipline focused on health economics, outcomes research, health services research, etc. (e.g. PhD, MHA, MPH, PharmD.)
5-7 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Advanced capability to translate real world strategies, tactics and data interpretation to highly diverse audiences
Strong knowledge of outcomes research methods, including study design and analysis.
Strong commercial, patient access and clinical strategic mindset.
Thorough understanding of relevant Novartis policies and procedures
Ability to quickly understand HE&OR/Dev and Medical specific processes
Works well in a team environment and independently with limited supervision
Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills.
