This is a Field Facing role.
This AD Strategy & Operations is accountable for optimizing sales operations by acting as the catalyst for identifying risks and opportunities as related to the performance of the Breast Cancer Franchise field sales teams. This role will play a key part in the ongoing assessment of the Franchise business performance in order to improve executional excellence. The individual must be highly proficient at performing regular, National & Area level data analysis and synthesis in order to help provide feedback on the need for any subsequent strategic & tactical course corrections for both HQ and field based stakeholders. The candidate will also be responsible for:
Accountable for assisting the Breast Cancer Franchise Leadership Team with the translation of brand strategy into regional level business plans for local Area use.
Represent the Sales function in the NexGen Marketing work stream and the Breast Cancer Franchise NexGen Marketing Commercialization effort at the field force level.
Work with the ASMs to conduct market assessments to help identify local market trends and how they contribute to regional performance, recommend course corrections and monitor regional results.
Lead the Breast Cancer Franchise effort to build the capabilities needed to monitor account level competitive activity and apply vigilance around implications to key commercial account pathways/formulary/EMR status.
Lead the Breast Cancer Franchise initiatives around enhancing Sales Force Effectiveness by partnering with HQ teams in Marketing, Business Analytics, Hyderabad Data Operations, CRM Operations, FFO Logistics & Planning, etc.)
Play an active role in monthly PEARL & Sales Leadership Team meetings to identify Regional and Area drivers of performance and key actions needed to optimize that performance.
Conduct field visits and play an active role in the engagement of key customers and accounts.
Act as the voice of the field team during the development of Franchise brand marketing strategic & tactical plans via input that represents the field team s needs & experiences.
Partner with E&C and appropriate stakeholders to mitigate any identified risks.

Bachelor s degree required (M.Sc./MBA preferred). Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical experience required. Sales Leadership &/or Marketing Operations experience is required. Oncology/Hematology Sales Leadership experience preferred. This is an East Hanover based role with 30% travel required.
The successful candidate should have demonstrated competencies and prior experience with sales analytics, strategy development, account management, CI gathering and marketing capabilities. The ability to communicate effectively across functions, specifically with headquarter functions (e.g. Marketing, PLS, etc.) as well as the field sales teams will be expected.
