Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of brand strategy, marketing mix and operational plans that optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for Xolair in the short and long term.
Collaborates with Xolair Joint Venture Partner and Xolair Novartis Cross Functional Team across both Xolair Indications: Allergic Asthma (AA) and Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria (CIU)
Collaborates on the development and execution of the brand plan, product positioning, and marketing plans with specific co-ownership of HCP strategy for CIU
Collaborates with marketing, training and sales partners to develop and execute the HCP promotion strategy for Xolair across AA and CIU
Monitors and adjusts ongoing marketing mix, project investments balancing return on investment and impact to brand
Ensures compliance with finance and budgeting practices, and appropriate management of resources.
Provides strategic direction to; and manages day-to-day operations with multiple agencies to optimize marketing mix
Plan market research and leveraging market insights across AA and CIU to evolve access brand priorities
Acts as brand champion to create focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and patients
Manages brand promotional budget across AA and CIU indications
Input into sales forecasting and resourcing decisions impacting HCP promotion

The applicant must possess a strong background in Pharmaceutical marketing, a high level of analytical and conceptual ability in order to provide strategic focus to the brand, and demonstrate a proven track record of strong execution and results. The ideal candidate will be proficient at uncovering customer based insights and leveraging this knowledge to drive brand strategy and execution excellence. Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related discipline) required.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience of US in-line pharmaceutical marketing
Experience within the chronic biologic market and specialty drug access process preferred
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) are required
Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans to achieve business results in a self-directed manner
Proven track record of strong execution and results
Exceptional use of time management, planning, organizational, communication, selling and negotiation skills.
