Provides proactive, strategic legal support for various functions within the US Oncology business, with a focus on supporting market access/managed markets teams.
Provides strategic counseling to the market access/managed markets teams and other functions in the US Oncology business
Drafts and negotiates a wide range of commercial agreements with a particular focus on managed care agreements with PBMs, health plans and other payers; specialty pharmacy arrangements; GPO agreements; distribution and wholesaler arrangements; and other commercial arrangements
Reviews and advises on pharmaceutical advertising and promotional materials and issues
Acts as a partner to the business while identifying and mitigating potential risk
Advises on legal risks/ formulates strategy to achieve the unit s innovation goals, while protecting assets/reputation
Serves as a member of various cross-functional teams and counsels clients on day-to-day operation of the business

JD degree (or equivalent qualification)
Minimum 6 years of legal practice
Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and rules and regulations governing the industry
Substantial transactional expertise and experience negotiating and drafting a broad range of agreements with a particular emphasis on managed care and related commercial arrangements
Experience advising on anti-kickback laws and regulations; False Claims Act; government price reporting laws and regulations; FDA laws and regulations including drug advertising and promotion rules and off-label promotion risks; product liability; the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act; antitrust law; contract law; and other requirements applicable to the pharmaceutical industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience as in-house counsel (preferred)
