The Global Indication Lead (GIL) Renal cell is responsible for developing and implementation of commercial strategy and tactics for Votrient in metastatic renal cell (RCC) in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving environment.
Lead development of global Votrient marketing strategy to ensure optimal product positioning vs current and future competitors
Partner with Market Access and Medical Affairs teams on the cross functional effort to optimize the global long term disease area strategy (DAS) and the short-mid term strategy co-created with countries and regions (IDAPS)
Co-create tactics, in close collaboration with Countries, to operationalize IDAPS in support of the brand s market share and product performance objectives
Build relationships with global RCC medical experts and leverage the insights collected to support launch plan and lifecycle management activities
Identify and showcase RCC team global/region/country market penetration efforts through: sharing of key learnings, insights, experiences, and best practices
Ensure global A&P budgets and resources are effectively managed within agreed upon limits and plans are effectively implemented
Provide guidance for the RCC forecast
Responsible for the commercial interpretation and internal education of key market events within the Oncology organization (e.g. Senior management, IR, etc.)

University degree in Marketing, Medicine, Natural or Pharmaceutical Sciences. An advanced degree in science and/or business preferred (e.g., MD, Pharm. D., PhD., MBA)
At least 5 years of healthcare operational marketing / product management or related experience (including country-level product management) oncology preferred, but not critcal
Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with global Oncology/Hematology Medical Experts
Comfortable rapidly switching between complex science and commercial concepts, with an ability to bridge between them, build common understanding amongst colleagues with either background
Proven ability to collaborate, operate and influence cross-functionally and cross-culturally in global team
Strong analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
25% travel requirement
