Lead Regional Account Management team, including Regional Directors of Account Management, to ensure successful product launches, profitable market access for the entire Novartis product portfolio across multiple channels (i.e. Health Plans/PBMs, Systems of Care, IDNs); and pull through excellence.
Drive the appropriate alignment of account coverage, balancing national and regional priorities in order to accomplish corporate goals and objectives through flawless execution, collaboration and alignment with Franchise Teams.
Ensures team has proper training and strategic business planning skills to fully understand their customers product and business needs and meet those needs to exceed Novartis goals while adhering to all company ethics and compliance standards
Provide leadership in strategic thinking, business planning, and facilitate meaningful discussion and communication within the RAM team
Actively participate and provide leadership in department and franchise meetings, drive ATM participation and effectiveness in collaboration with all field and medical teams
Collaborate with Sales Force Effectiveness and Operations and Analytics to enhance and monitor compensation plan, ensuring that it drives positive behaviors to maximize execution and deliver results, while improving overall performance
Lead and be viewed as a strategic thought partner to the business for insight generations / key findings capabilities; effectively influence stakeholders and communicate findings cross-functionally to secure management action.
Leverage significant market, competitor, industry, customer and cross-functional business knowledge and experience to foresee and manage potential business challenges /opportunities
Influence overall business strategy and decisions within own department and with key stakeholders, and drive business impact by constantly aligning with business top and bottom line objectives.
Consult partners and peers on key industry and leading practices and help solve complex issues and provide strategic direction by keeping a perspective and balance on external and internal view. Make strategic investments by allocating resources according to departmental and organizational priorities.

A Bachelor s degree is required, concentration in Science/Biology/Medicine/pharmacy preferred, MBA preferred
10+ years of Market Access Experience, 3+ years Account Management Experience 2+ years in Sales/Field Management (preferred)
Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situation and processes and effectively integrating and synthizing the data to form a complete cohesive picture.
Experience working with Executive Management at Health System level preferred
Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind.
