Associate Director, Disease education lead erenumab/migraine

Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of brand strategy and operational plans that optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for erenumab.
Lead the development of the consumer disease education platform along with associated disease education material for patients
Build and manage the erenumab patient advocate program including development of content and execution of the patient to patient speaker programs
This individual will work closely with partner functions (eg. Advocacy & Patient Relations and Comms BP)
Develop innovative business to business programs with key Advocacy organizations
Identifies market insights using market research, competitive intelligence, and understanding of disease areas
Investigate new technologies and find innovative ways to reach and educate consumers/patients
Increase awareness of erenumab and migraine prevention treatment among migraine patient and their care partners
Ensures appropriate tactical mix balancing return on investment and impact to brand
Provides strategic direction to consumer agencies to optimize marketing mix
Acts as brand champion to create focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and agencies.
Collaborate with Global on critical brand issues and align as appropriate to the global brand strategy.

The applicant must possess a strong background in Pharmaceutical marketing, a high level of analytical and conceptual ability in order to provide strategic focus to the brand, and demonstrate a proven track record of strong execution and results. The ideal candidate will be proficient at uncovering customer based insights and leveraging this knowledge to drive brand strategy and program development and have the ability to work directly with patients organizations. Additional requirements include the ability to lead and manage teams and multiple vendors. 20% travel is required.
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related discipline). MBA or related Masters Degree preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of US in-line pharmaceutical marketing (consumer experience, or CPG experience preferred)
Preferred operational marketing experience with focus on product/brand management including customer facing/sales experience; launch experience preferred
Previous experience in migraine, pain or biologics preferred
Excellent quantitative abilities and excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) are a must.
Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans to achieve business results in a self-directed manner.
Proven track record of strong execution and results
Exceptional use of time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills.
Previous experience in sales, sales management, or account management preferred
Ability to work well across a matrix organization with strong collaboration skills to support the co-promote efforts
