Provides proactive, strategic legal support for various functions within the Oncology business, including commercial, medical and support functions in the Oncology Division. This role reports to VP, Head Legal, Oncology US.
Provides strategic counseling to various aspects of the U.S. and Global Oncology business
Acts as a partner to the Business while identifying and mitigating potential risk
Serves as a member of various cross-functional teams and counsels clients on day-to-day operation of the business
Manages Legal Risk and facilitates Innovation - Advises on risks/ formulates strategy to achieve Division's innovation goals, while protecting assets/reputation
Advises and provides training on drug advertising and promotion rules, off-label promotion risks, product liability risks and other requirements applicable to the pharmaceutical industry
Supports commercial and non-commercial functions (e.g. reviews, drafts and negotiates agreements in the ordinary course of business)

Minimum requirements :
- JD (or equivalent qualification)
- 6 years of legal practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of rules and regulations governing Pharma industry (preferred)
- Previous experience as in-house counsel (preferred)
